Tour Overview

This itinerary is a shortened version of the South Sardinia 10 night tour concentrating on the routes in the south western corner of the island.

Starting from Quartu near Cagliari, you first ride north to the thermal centre of Sardara. This leg can be shortened by taking a transfer from Quartu to Dolianova. From Sardara you ride west to meet the coast at Nebida and then follow it south through Gonnesa and Portoscuso before boarding the ferry to Carloforte on the island of San Pietro. Another ferry ride takes you to Calasetta on Sant’Antioco, and then onward to Teulada and the ancient Phoenician city of Nora. The final destination is beautiful Chia, set amongst orchards and fig trees.

The ride from Quartu to Sardara can be shortened using by making use of a transfer for the first section from Quartu to Dolianova.
