Bikes (boxed or unboxed) are carried free of charge on buses in the luggage compartment beneath provided there is space.
Bicycles (boxed or unboxed) can be carried in most (but not all) intercity trains – either in the guard’s van (if there is one) or in a designated space in the carriage.
